Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. Born in Stavanger on June 15th, 1996. She is professionally referred to as Aurora. Her name can also be stylized as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 it received a raving review from music blogs and the media. Half the World Away from Oasis was released by the group Oasis was recorded to accompany an advertisement for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is an Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry shared a tweet in which Perry made a splash with her track Runaway. Enjoy the celebration of this special event. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories involve finding an instrument hidden in her attic, and being captivated by the sounds it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. He urged her not to pursue music solely to have fun or as a means of growth but rather, she should explore it. The singer began to write her own songs. She has cited renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan for inspiration, as well as an appreciation for the style of Bjork. In response to her mother's suggestions that people ought not to aim at achieving fame through the songs she writes, but rather be aware of the significance of them and their impact on society. She began playing the piano at the age of six, and began writing music at age nine. Her family didn't hear about her musical journey until she was 14. The dream was never to turn into Aurora. Aurora is simply a writer who loves writing songs. For her, music is the most effective way to feel anything.
